Service Description

Heather Lodge is hosting a program called Wellbeing in Nature, which is aimed at improving the mental health of residents on Arran. This whole program is entirely FREE. Foraging and wild food is part of it, as well as other great workshops. More info on the wider programme as well as other services can be seen here: https://heatherlodge.scot/services/wellbeing-in-nature This booking is for 1:1 sessions with myself. We will discuss what wild food we can cover based on seasonal availability and choose a location that suits the wild food and yourself. These sessions can be one or two hours and will be focused on wellbeing and nature connection through foraging. They are totally funded and free to you! I also run a weekly group called Wild Food, Wildly Being Well on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm usually at Heather Lodge, with some excursions to other spots. Cancellation Policy

All attendees are required to follow safety instructions provided by our staff during foraging activities. While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our events, participants attend at their own risk. Wild Food Arran is under no obligation to provide a refund for events less than 4 weeks away The ticket purchaser is responsible for ensuring that email communication from Wild Foods Arran is received and reviewed. This may contain important information. Please check your spam inbox. In the unlikely event that Wild Foods Arran has to cancel an event full refunds will be provided Foraging walks will go ahead in bad weather, however strong winds and storms may lead to Wild Food Arran taking the decision to cancel the walk for everyone's safety. In this case refunds will be provided. The decision to cancel an event by Wild Food Arran is final Ticket purchasers are responsible for providing accurate mobility, allergy, dietary requirements and health information for all attendees in their group at the point of purchase. The purchaser accepts that not providing accurate mobility, allergy and dietary information will lead to some participants not having the correct food/adjustments provided for them. Ticket purchasers are responsible for sharing email communications from Wild Foods Arran to all in their group in a timely manner All attendees are responsible for providing their own suitable clothing and footwear. Waterproofs and wellies are recommended on all walks. Attendees will communicate any potential issues regarding their attendance with Wild Foods Arran via email. Children must be accompanied by an adult and be supervised throughout the event All wellbeing events are not suitable for those who are not able to keep themselves safe due to illnesses or otherwise.
